KATHLEEN ROZAS
Born in Paris, Kathleen Rozas, native of French West Indies, is passionate about the fashion and beauty world since the age of 6, by making clothes for her dolls, inspired by her needlewomen grandmothers .
At 12, watching TV, she discovers the Miss France Contest 1993, won by Véronique De la Cruz, Miss Guadeloupe 1992.
Touched by the beauty of the show and all these gorgeous evening dresses, she knows she will be a stylist. Then, she begins to make her own clothes, with the support of her parents.
At 15, Kathleen decides to persue Applied Arts studies from "Rivière des Pères" high school, in Basse-terre, Guadeloupe, then at 18, sewing studies from "Les Coteaux" high school in Cannes.
At 22, she studying fashion design and modeling and is graduated 2 years later from the prestigious School of the Chambre Syndicale de la Couture Parisienne (School of Trade association of the Parisian Sewing).
Famous fashion designers, Yves Saint Laurent, Valentino, Jean-Louis Scherrer, and Stéphane Rolland were trained in this school.
It is moreover alongside with Stéphane Rolland, when he was stylist for the Fashion House Jean-Louis Scherrer, that Kathleen gains experience
during 2 years.
At the age of 24, she wins her first competition of young creators, create her couture ready-to-wear brand KATHLEEN ROZAS, and presents her first collection of evening dresses.
In 2010, she creates a secondary line, KATHLEEN by Kathleen Rozas, a
ready-to-wear and fashion accessories brand.
Today, with over 10 years of experience in the middle, and her glamrock, futuristic, chic and fashion forward style, Kathleen Rozas, stylist, designer, and needlewoman, open to the world culture and current trends, dresses the fashion, beauty, music and cinema personalities .
